About Sofía

I am a teacher and student of Communication and Languages motivated by studying, practicing what I study, and, above all, sharing my knowledge. I worked as a university professor for 25 years, and I still haven't stopped learning or teaching. At the moment, I am developing an educational project that includes meditation and neuroscience within the teaching-learning process that has been excellent not only for my language-learning process but for my entire personal life.

About the lesson

I employ a communicative method, whose objective is real communication (both oral and written), which permits learners to interact with other speakers of that foreign language. This, through texts, recordings, interactive materials, videos, and songs, among others, with which learners perform activities that imitate as faithfully as possible situations that they can experience outside the classroom. A typical first lesson for beginners includes introducing yourself, saying where you are from and greeting your classmates.
