Methodology
I am a firm believer that everyone is creative and can learn tools to give voice to their visual language. My approach to teaching is supportive and encouraging, intended to help you find the style that expresses your ideas and meets your needs. Arts activity is proven to be good for mental health and well being, so above all, I am concerned that you enjoy your creative journey.
Background
I am a teaching artist with around 30 years experience giving lessons to people of all ages and stages. I have a Master of Arts degree (visual art), and am a confirmed Doctor of Creative Arts candidate. In addition to many secondary students, I have taught more than 100 students in community classes and training. Many of them have continued on with arts or creative careers and testimonials can be found on my website.
