About Olerato
I’m currently a second-year Health Sciences student with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students feel more confident in math. I completed the International Baccalaureate program, which is equivalent to the South African NSC. I achieved a 7 in IB Math SL (equivalent to ~90%) and graduated within the top 5% of students globally (43/45). At the North-West University, I obtained 85% and 82% in Applied Calculus in each semester respectively, and maintained a first-year GPA of ~82%.

My teaching style is question-driven and interactive. I focus on understanding concepts, practising exam-style questions, and helping students build confidence rather than memorising steps. My lessons are structured but supportive, and students are encouraged to bring topics or material they want help with in advance. I’m fluent in English and conversational in French. My lessons are for Grade 8-10 learners, and first-year Applied Calculus students.
