About Belinda
I am a self taught artist and designer. I am experienced learner and trying it out till it works for me or until I dont love it anymore :) . There are often many ways to do the same thing, however, I do wish I had someone else help me out along the way so thats why I am here, its good to have some support, ask questions and learn as you go and I am here to back you up.
I have experience and skills across many different areas and one of the things I bring to the table is being able to talior it to you, as well as being able to have understanding on the "bigger" picture of how the applications or parts of projects work together and being able to have options to explore to do this in better and easier ways.
I have taught one on one classes to kids and adults in art, mixed media and coloured pencils. I have also taught many cliens in digital websites etc and also helped students with uni assessments and highschool art to support their already existing projects so they can have some tailored support.
I have experience in helping people who have anxiety in the creaive world. I am patient and pride myself of inclusion of neurodivergent and all peoples and try to always encourage a safe place to create.
My art features lanscapes, figurative, abstract so I am able to adapt my teachings to the individual.
So my teachings are taliored, they are supportive and they are a bit outside the box. In saying that, I am big on learning the fundamentals and then adpating that from there.

My lessons are structured around firstly getting to know you and what you would like to achieve / do. It could be learning to draw better, how to mix paints, how to work with software and it maybe for a assessment for learning or just that you want to learn one on one how to do something better.
Lessons are tailored on steps to get you where you need to go but also with a bit of exploration and play. Being open to different ways of learning, having the core fundamentals, structure but then taking that in whichever way works for you, in my experience the only way to do that is to have a go and try some different things. It could be different materials, brushes , subject matter, looking at other ways other people do things and trying it.
In software applications there are so many different ways and steps to achieve the same result so a key is to have an open mind and be brave, being creative takes bravery but we can work on this together.

Details
The first lesson is more of a get to know you session to find out about what you like to do, where you would like go / what you are trying to acheive. Also to look at your past work and I hope to give you a few tips to help you along the way. If you would like help with software such as photoshop or illustrator I can run through a screenshare session to help as well.
I do like for your video to be on for the first few minutes so we can say Hi :)
