I believe it is important for the students to start speaking Spanish from day one. In my classes, I only speak Spanish and I encourage the students to do so. I am very playful and I have a great sense of humor which I believe can help to learn the language. Depending on the students' needs I have taught Spanish learning lyrics and singing songs or in more traditional ways...I am opened to respond to the client's needs and preferences.
For the past 18 years, I have worked as an engineer in sustainability, which included developing regional climate change strategies and designing and developing community programs. I have worked in several multicultural teams across different countries (Spain, France, Australia and Ethiopia). I have been involved with many NGOs teaching Spanish, French and English to immigrants and refugees (RED JOVESOLIDES), teaching Spanish and English as part of an integration program for people released from prison and/or using drugs (FUNDACIÓN ADSIS-HEDRA). I am passionate about languages and meeting people from different cultures. In my free time, I have been teaching Spanish and French to many students. I am bilingual in French and Spanish. I have been living for more than 7 years in Australia. IELTS overall result 8.0/9.0 in 2018 as follwos: Listening:8.5/9; Reading:9/9; Writing:7/9; Speaking;7/9).
