My priority in my lessons are not simply to teach, but more importantly to inspire a love of music that aims to make practice enjoyable and improvement easy. I teach theory, how to read and play music for beginners, how to develop technique, rudiments, and all sorts of more complex musical theory to those who are interested. As a lover of jazz, I don't want to just teach to read and play, but to create and improvise!
I'm an aspiring musician, beginning study this year at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I've got 7 years of saxophone, 2 years of drumming, and a year of piano experience to work on, and studied jazz all throughout high-school. The drums are not my main instrument but I am more than proficient enough to teach beginners and I believe myself to be a strong teacher with children. I've worked at an after school care, as a swim teacher, have run a local kids club and am currently a kids tennis coach. More recently I have found work as a conductors assistant at WPS and have a small base of students I tutor.
At least 2 hours of cancellation notice required, or unfortunately I charge a $20 fee. Flexible to reschedule lessons if needed
