I am a perceptive individual who strives to understand each student’s individuality and I do my best to cater for them. I use a holistic approach instead of a pure academic one. I believe that despite the importance of marks and grades, establishing your values and who you are as a person during high school years are just as important and as urgent a task you’re given.
I see myself as a perceptive and caring person. I try my best to cater for individual needs – for example, is this student needing confidence? Affirmation? More practise questions and exams? Motivation? Confusion with concepts? Confusion with exam structure and expectations? Dislike of a particular subject? Etc. I believe that effective tutoring only comes from honest communication and mutual understanding. I am willing to provide a safe space and a non-judgemental attitude to help each individual achieve their potential.
