It is very important as a tutor to understand your student. Be his silent friend and connect with him. Read his mental abilities, his interest, observe his qualities and disabilities, his way of learning things. And then try to impart the teaching depending on all these factors. Each student is different and so is the method of teaching.
I am a Graduating Architect studying masters of Architecture in UniSA.I have been giving personal maths lessons for around 6months in Adelaide. I have mentored 4 students till now and they all are quiet excelling in their studies. My aim is to make the student fall in love with the subject rather than just lurking one to fetch good grades.
Good grades are by default! If you enjoy learning.
