Methodology
I work to build friendly relationships with my students so they can feel comfortable and confident to share their learning journey with me. We will tailor your lessons to suit your goals, encompassing; assignments, essay editing, grammar tasks, conversation practice, cultural knowledge and more. Whatever you need, I can customise the lessons for you.
For parents: I’ll work with your child to complete school assignments and if befitting extend their learning beyond the school curriculum in a complimentary manner.
For adults: If you’re an adult wanting conversational English or English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classes, we’ll choose fun and interesting topics to improve your practical English.
Background
I’m a mature, understanding and supportive tutor who loves art, art history and English literature. I’ve been a student most of my life so I know how challenging learning can be but also how rewarding.
I've been a tutor for many years now and it is now my primary form of work. I'm dedicated to helping others and I have around 10 regular clients currently and am looking to assist more.
My school age students have seen much improvement in their grades and my adult students see great progress with their everyday English skills and IELTS preparation.
I'm a great listener, approachable, very understanding and motivated to help you achieve your learning goals. Let's begin!
