About Katherine
I am a senior Mathematics major at Tarleton State University with a focus in secondary education. I have always known teaching is a passion of mine, and that’s why I would like to pursue my career in teaching when I graduate in May 2023. I love performing and being on stage whether it is acting, singing, or playing music, and this has been a hobby of mine since I can remember. I am also a member of Delta Phi Epsilon at Tarleton and love serving the community through this organization as well.

I can provide either in person or virtual tutoring and will find the best ways that you learn information to adapt my teaching style to just that. I have a variety of math manipulatives that I can bring to help get a particular point across and I have no problem with coming up with a series of examples over a certain topic until it clicks for you. I can work with you on step-by-step problems/examples or go into deeper understanding of concepts. I also know many tips and tricks that I would love to share with you to help you learn the information better as well! My goal is to not only help you learn the information for now, but teach in a way that you could turn around and re-teach it to someone else with confidence.
