University of Sydney Bachelor of Arts Grad Offering English Tutoring for School Students in Hobart or via Webcam
Methodology
I have extensive background in essay, analytical and creative writing from my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sydney and from my high school diploma. I achieved an ATAR of 97.95 and received an A+ for year 12 Advanced English Studies, as well as an award from the principal for one of my creative writing pieces. I will very happily review and edit students work throughout the week, however my lessons will primarily focus on helping students to identify and correct errors in their own work so as to foster a long-term sense of confidence in their abilities to successfully complete both in-class and at-home English coursework. The lesson structure will depend upon the specific skills the student wishes to strengthen and improve upon through tutoring.
Background
I have recently completed my Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Sydney where I undertook a double major in English and Indonesian Studies. I have had a strong focus on languages since high school, and English has always been one of my best subjects. I have over 10 months of experience teaching English as a volunteer overseas, which is something I have thoroughly enjoyed doing over the past 5 years.
