I am a PhD candidate and academic support worker with extensive experience in facilitating online learning. I finished my undergraduate degree in social sciences with distinction and honours in 2018 at one of Australia's top universities (University of New South Wales). I was then accepted into a Doctor of Philosophy in Arts and Social Sciences at another of Australia's most prestigious universities (University of Sydney). Additionally, I am currently completing a course on teaching methods with Harvard University.
Although much of my learning and teaching is aimed at a university level, I also have a range of experience with young children. I have previously worked as a nanny overseas where I taught English (as a second language) to children as young as three. I have also worked as a teacher in a women's refuge and orphanage in Kenya, where I taught classes consisting of children as young as 5 and adults up to 30 years old.
My areas of expertise are English (and literature), Sociology, ethics, Australian history, teaching methodology, and environmental humanities. I am open to custom classes, just send me a message!
I am an academic coordinator and experienced tutor. I finished my HSC with extension 2 English and my undergraduate degree with distinction and honours. I am developing my career as a lecturer in arts and social sciences focusing on Australian Indigenous history.
