UNSW Master of Primary Teaching Student with Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English available for tutoring
Methodology
My teaching method is democratic and student-focussed. I listen to my students needs and gear my lessons towards their current concerns. I am happy to revisit teaching content covered during the week and also to assist in preparation and editing of school assignments. I prefer to let students and parents take the lead with regard to their most pressing concerns, so that I can focus my attention on those areas more neatly.
Background
I have a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Philosophy and an Honours Degree in English Literature from ANU. I'm beginning my Master of Primary Teaching at UNSW, and have volunteered at primary schools helping children learn to read. I'm enthusiastic, friendly, and patient, making me an excellent tutor. I'm passionate about English Literature and hope to inspire my students to love literature, while also helping them achieve great marks.
