- the learner brings an example of what they are working on and needing assistance with so we can set goals for our time together
- we break down the process and find the pinch point we need to focus on
- I use various tools and techniques depending on the topic to find an angle that makes sense to the learner to begin understanding the material
- we do practice together using the provided techniques until the learner feels confident in their ability to solve these literary problems on their own
