My teaching methodology is both practical and collaborative. In our lessons you will feel like you are rehearsing for a show and I will treat you as a fellow artist. We will be creative partners as we work together to unlock the meaning of that Shakespearian monologue, discover that new level of detail in your character's development and unearth the deeper essence of your scene work.
I graduated from the Three Year Acting Course at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 1993. Since then I have had the pleasure of training countless students at institutions in both England and Australia and I am a current staff member at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (W.A.A.P.A.). I have a particular focus for working with high school students/young performers in the areas of Shakespeare, Movement and Scene Study including the rehearsal of monologues for exams and auditions.
No cancellation charge is applied if a minimum of 24 hours notice is given. Cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson will still incur the normal lesson fee.
