About Micha
I am a passionate educator, guide and facilitator.
I help students find their unique identity as a designer. I am offering these lessons, inspired by my own frustrations as a design student and as an empathetic teacher.
As a student, I suffered from being push and pulled; influenced by many voices (tutors, lecturers, peers) which would lead me to doubt my own integrity as a designer. As a teacher, I would get frustrated when I saw moments of great potential from students get clouded or lose clarity through the process of translating it into design.
I have multi- faceted experience- as a student, teacher and course content creator. I understand how difficult it can be when a brief is not clear, or when there are too many opinions.
I have been lucky to study, work and teach across the world. Through my own personal journey, I have been able to get clear on who am I and what I am best placed to offer. It is my hope, through these lessons, to get you curious about your own unique offering; to guide you towards your unique design approach and fortify your identity as a Designer.

I am offering personalised tutoring for design students who wish to develop their unique identity and integrity as a Designer. These sessions will be guided by the student's goals and values. They can be project based or general design approach based.
I will help you uncover You, the Designer: clarifying your ideas, responding to project briefs and translating them into design. This will give you solid foundations and curate your unique design approach.
Lesson structure:
- First lesson recommended 1.5 hours, then minimum 1 hour for subsequent lessons.
- I recommend at least 5 sessions, "Shaping the Designer within You" to develop your unique design approach
- Lessons are not designed for single or drop in sessions but I am happy to offer single- sessions to students I have worked with previously.
I have worked as a Teaching Associate for Monash Art, Design and Architecture (MADA). I have worked as an Architect and Senior Placemaker (consultant) in Melbourne, Sydney, New York City) for over 10 years. I studied in:
