Raneem is the Arabic teacher I have been looking for.... She is a very skilled and kind teacher, who makes every class interesting, adaptable and enjoyable. She creates a plan and flow for our classes that is always flexible and at the pace I need, and is very clear and constructive in her teaching. As we progress, she continues to come up with ideas and strategies that adjust to my specific style of learning, and I really feel like she makes an effort to understand what works for me, and what will be genuinely practical for my learning journey. Classes are always fun and interesting, and she has a natural way of connecting with her students. As well, I have a new-found appreciation of Arabizi which has made the experience of learning Arabic much more accessible than I imagined. I can't recommend more!!

Setsuko is very patient and uses real life scenarios to help with learning. For example, we practised checking into hotels, visiting restaurants, telling time and buying train tickets. Setsuko explains everything very clearly. She also provided useful cultural tips for navigating daily life in Japan. I'm looking forward to putting what I've learnt into practice. If you're looking for someone who can teach you useful Japanese for day-to-day situations when travelling, I recommend you take lessons with Setsuko.
