Emmy was one of my instructors and she taught me how to use Photoshop and how to draw on paper. I learned how to draw a lot of different characters and animals. She was a great teacher!

I was one of Emmy's students at a nonprofit in Austin. She was an amazing teacher. Any time I had a question or needed help with something, she sat with me as long as she needed to make sure that I understood it and was able to do it on my own. I got a lot better at my art. She is great!

Emmy does a wonderful job of teaching to each student’s skill level, and crafting unique challenges to grow in their desired artistic interests. She has experience teaching adults with autism and selling her own artwork and freelance services!

Our son was one of her students last semester. She has a genuine care for her students that she showes through the individual approaches that are developed for each students set of needs. Her ability to understand each students skill set, and comfort zones, while still pursuing the boundries that lie outside was a good balance that challenged him while not being unfair. She helped prepare our boy for the workforce that is in wait outside of college. We absolutely loved her and couldnt recommend her enough!

She’s very patient and understanding even when I’m confused she’ll take her time to figure out multiple ways to explain something so I can get the best understanding of it. She’s a great listener when you’re talking about what’s frustrating you and her positive attitude attitude motivates you to practice your art as much as you can!

Not only is an amazing, trustworthy teacher, she is the embodiment of what a teacher should be in the world. We worked together at a non profit and she cares for each and every person; student and staff. She gets to know each student personally so that no one feels left out. Emily understands everyone learns differently, so she'll do whatever she can that no one is left behind.
