There is a Chinese saying "因材施教", means teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. Students may want to pass the exam, plan to live and work in China, or simply interested in Chinese culture, some of them have learned Chinese, some have never. In short, students' requirements vary. Before the lesson, I will learn about the student's background, Chinese-language level, goal, then prepare the lesson accordingly. So in my lesson, you will learn what you want to learn, rather than what I want to teach.
There is no 'fail' in my lesson, I will not give pressure to students and always encourage them.
Do you remember how you learn your native language? I bet you don't. Because when you grow up in your native environment. In my lesson, you will be in that environment, there will be no restrictions, no rules.
