About Somto
My name is Somto Ezechukwu, I used to be a student in secondary school who would always struggle with Maths. Maths was never my strongest subject up until my last year, I would revise all the time right until my GCSEs. I would have all these tutoring sessions after school that also contributed to my learning. Once I knew how to tackle topics in Maths, such as algebra and probability, I began to enjoy maths. When I had my first maths GCSE, I was so scared, but I didn't worry as much because I knew that I put in a crazy amount of work. Once it was results day, I came out with a grade 6 in Maths. Now mind you, I would always get Grade 3s every time I had a maths mock. But revision and being tutored got me where I am now. Now I am studying A-Levels. Law, Ethical Philosophy and Sociology. All thanks to myself and those around me.

Now my lessons will all be an hour and 30 minutes, with 10 minute breaks when I feel is necessary. Now because I care about the great outcome my students can get, I won't be too lenient on them, because I know leniency can create lazy students. The first sessions I normally have with my students is usually getting to know them for the first 10 minutes, as well as getting to know what they're struggling so we know what problems to tackle first thing. Don't worry, my lessons are harmless, there'll be nothing inappropriate said, just strictly lessons. After each session, there will be homework that I will give them depending on the topic that we have learnt during the session. I'll try my hardest to not give them too much due to already having homework from school.
