About Emily
I am studying a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, to become a registered Dietician with the NHS. I mostly tutor students in Biology and Chemistry who wish to pursue degrees at University Level in fields such as Medicine, Dentistry, Physiotherapy etc... as these degrees require a high grade in both subjects for admission. I achieved A* A in these subjects. I have taught lower sixth (AS Level) students when I was in my upper sixth (A2 Level) year of school, in the months previous to the exams. Both of my students acquired Grade A's and A*'s in their subjects for AS level. I can also provide tutoring in English Literature as this was my third A level, I would be so happy to hear from you!

I have a passion for empowering young people to fulfil their full potential! It is my understanding that for some young students, classroom based learning does not allow them to achieve maximum results because their teacher simply may not have the time to explain topics in the depth and detail that is required to achieve top marks. It is my job to insure that this detail is covered in a one to one learning environment where students have can feel comfortable and have the time to ask me absolutely anything they want in relation to any topic from the Krebs Cycle to Nerve Synapses! My teaching methods include practice papers and providing each student with notes that are unique to their individual style of learning. I work mainly from the notes that I used to achieve an A* in Biology A Level and tailor them to suit each student and their unique method of learning.
