About Matt
With a Doctorate of Musical Arts and 15 years of experience as a concert violinist, I bring a wealth of expertise and passion to my teaching. My journey as a performer has taken me around the world, and I have had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of the finest musicians. This extensive experience not only enriches my teaching but also allows me to offer a deep understanding of various musical styles, including classical, pop, rock, country, and fiddle.
My teaching philosophy focuses on personalization and versatility. I believe that every student has unique needs and aspirations, so I tailor my lessons to fit individual goals and musical interests. Whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or an advanced player seeking to refine your technique and explore new genres, I provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages growth and creativity.
