About Brooke`
I am a creative free spirit who loves to create Beauty through hands-on Art. I am also a fine art portrait and vintage photographer who loves styling and playing with vintage pieces and accessories. My nature is patient, kind and easy going. In a world full of screens I am passionate about keeping real-life, tangible, touchable hands-on skills alive! This is why I really enjoy passing on my knowledge and skills through the art of creating beautiful pieces and projects you can be proud of.

My sewing journey began with a love for Vintage Fashions as a teenager. I scoured op shops for patterns from the 1940s and 1950s. I still have this collection and I learned over the years to mix and match my own designs. I can teach sewing basics, how to use a sewing machine. You can start with small novelty projects which I highly recommend if you are a beginner, then move onto fashions if you wish. I am mostly self taught, I was so eager to learn I just threw myself in, It did help having a Mother who was a great dressmaker herself so I would hound her for guidance. I believe hands on to be the best and quickest way to learn any tangible skill. Let's Go.
