About Annika
I am a current college student (female) and I have struggled in school in my past. I have found wonderful success in finding tutors to support my academic and personal needs. My biggest goal is to give this same feeling to many other students- and to be able to see them grow, persevere, and explore all kinds of academics. I have been a tutor for just over 2 years, and I have been working with youth for about 5 years. My experience in work ranges from swim instructing, babysitting, tutoring, and working as a college admissions representative. I work with a vast variety of ages, people of all different backgrounds, experiences, and ability. I truly hope we can work together in the future.

I generally teach students who are in elementary school or middle school, but can add high school students based on availability. A typical lesson plans includes talking about the current struggles in the course to vocalize goals and desired outcomes. Then we will move into working on homework problems, and questions the student has within the class, as well as test prep and any additional practice. The main focus is on the student and what they wish to get out of the lessons. I really aim to build confidence, excitement, and curiosity in all kinds of academic courses and abilities.
