I start by getting the students to learn why that subject is important to their lives and set goals of implementing their learning to practical life. This method develops self motivation to gain knowledge and coaxes voluntary learning.
I then introduce them to the tools and resources for their respective subjects.
I use PowerPoint slides to deliver my lectures which are interactive. 60-40. I coach 60% and allow the students Ito contemplate 40%. This increases interaction in the class and builds confidence in every student even those who are a bit shy.
