About Alex

I am currently in the final year of my Undergraduate Degree at the ANU where I am majoring in Gender Studies. I have always loved learning and teaching, especially on the subjects I am passionate about.

I have published three poetry collections and whilst poetry is my favourite form of media to write, I enjoy writing in almost all forms of literature.

I am queer and neurodivergent, and hold these identities with great pride. They help inform much of my approach to teaching and education.

About the lesson

I take a collaborative approach to teaching, believing that students should have control and agency of their own learning. I aim to create a learning environment that is compassionate, understanding, and inclusive.

I have been teaching for four years across various disciplines. I specialise in English and Sociology, but have tertiary-level understandings of history, politics, and other humanity subject.

I am willing to teach students from years 7-12.
