About Lana
I am a passionate tutor who prioritizes building genuine connections with my students while encouraging extension and deeper learning. I provide a wide range of practice materials, including worksheets, mock exams, and custom notes tailored to individual needs. Currently studying at UQ, I understand the pressures students face and offer ongoing support outside of lesson time, whether that be reviewing assignments or answering last-minute revision questions. My lessons are entirely student-oriented and tailored to each student's needs. I create a personalised work plan in line with school and exam schedules, ensuring students stay on track while building confidence. Lessons typically run for 1–2 hours, as frequently as required. With over four years of tutoring experience, I have worked with students as young as 7 through to Year 12 exam preparation. Academically, I was ranked 1st in both Mathematical Methods and Legal Studies at school. I teach primary students in math, English, and science, and secondary students in general science up to Year 12, English (including advanced, Years 7-12), mathematics (to Year 12, up to Math Methods), Chemistry (Years 11–12), Biology (Years 11–12), Legal Studies (Years 9–12), and Economics and Psychology (Years 11–12).
