About Freya

My teaching methodology is built on five key principles: Creativity, Integrity, Real-life examples, Flexibility, and Accountability. I believe singing is not just about technique but also about expressing yourself in a creative way. I encourage students to explore their own style and emotions, making each lesson unique and inspiring. This helps students connect deeply with the music and enjoy their learning journey. Integrity is important in my teaching. I provide honest, clear feedback to help students improve while supporting them every step of the way. I use real-life examples and case studies from different singing styles and performances to make lessons practical and relatable. This approach helps students understand how techniques apply in real situations, preparing them for actual singing experiences. I adapt my lessons to fit each student’s needs and pace, ensuring flexibility for beginners and advanced learners alike. I also set clear goals and encourage students to take responsibility for their progress, promoting accountability. Besides singing, I teach music theory and songwriting, helping students build a strong musical foundation and express themselves creatively. My goal is to guide students in becoming confident, skilled, and passionate singers.
