About Mark
I graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore. I have been a tutor for more than 7 years. My students generally show good improvements in their results ( by at least 20%; quite a few went from barely passing to achieving distinctions and even perfect scores)

To ensure you do well, I would first clear up existing conceptual and understanding problems you might have. Review and activation of prior knowledge is definite. The lesson would then progress to giving you a through understanding of current topics you are doing ( or even topics slightly ahead depending on progress and rapport). Assignments and quizzes would be given to reinforce what you have learnt, as well as to stretch you slightly by giving opportunities to practise problem solving skills and integrating your concepts together such that you achieve fluency and mastery. Both are essential to doing well.
