About Greg

Hi, I’m a Social Worker with over 11 years of experience across Child Protection, School Social Work, Clinical Practice, Child & Family Services, and Leadership. I’m genuinely passionate about helping students grow in confidence, deepen their understanding, and develop the real-world skills that matter in this profession.

I’ve worked extensively in areas including anxiety and stress, LGBTQ+ support, trauma and abuse, and parenting challenges so I bring both academic knowledge and practical insight to every session. Whether you're preparing for placement, writing reflections, or trying to make sense of practice frameworks, I’m here to support you in a way that feels relevant, grounded, and empowering.

About the lesson

My Teaching Style

I take a student-centred approach, which means our sessions are all about you, your goals, your learning style, and your needs. I draw on strength-based and restorative practices to ensure you feel supported, heard, and confident throughout your learning journey.

My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where we can explore ideas together in a way that’s practical, meaningful, and focused on real-world social work practice. I believe learning should feel encouraging not stressful and I tailor each session to meet you exactly where you're at.

Lesson Format

Each session runs for about an hour. That gives us enough time to dive into key topics without things feeling rushed or overwhelming. Sessions are designed to be focused, engaging, and manageable.
