Hello! My name is Javier, and I am a native French speaker currently studying at the Université de Montréal. With a strong background in languages and cultures, I have a deep understanding of the French language and its cultural context. I’ve spent my entire life in Montréal, which has given me a unique insight into both formal and informal French, and I use this knowledge to help students from various backgrounds improve their language skills. As a native French speaker and current student at the Université de Montréal, I specialize in teaching French to learners who are either just starting out or have reached a more advanced level. My goal is to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment where students can feel confident in improving their language skills. I focus on practical language use, whether it’s for day-to-day conversations or more formal situations like preparing for permanent residency. My teaching method includes interactive activities, conversations, and writing exercises, with an emphasis on building strong foundational skills. I also have advanced writing abilities and can help students with more complex writing tasks, such as essays of over 1000 words, ensuring clarity and structure. A typical lesson with me might involve reviewing vocabulary and grammar, followed by writing practice or conversational drills. I believe that language learning should be enjoyable and approachable, so I adapt my lessons to meet each student’s individual needs. While I don’t have a formal degree in French or teaching, I bring a personal understanding of the language and culture, and I’m committed to helping you improve at your own pace.
