About Jarred
Hi, I’m Jarred, I’ve worked in hands-on technical roles for some of the biggest agricultural and industrial operations in Victoria. My background is in maintenance engineering and mechanics, and I’ve spent years solving complex problems in high-pressure environments. Along the way, I learned a lot that no one ever taught me in school. Not just about machines, but about money, systems, communication, and the little things that make the difference between just getting by and building a more comfortable life. I’ve semi-retired now, thanks to what I’ve learned and how I applied it. And that’s why I teach - to help others gain the skills and confidence that open doors, especially in language, literacy, and everyday problem-solving. I’m especially passionate about supporting adult learners and migrants who didn’t get the help they needed the first time around. I'm practical, honest, and easy to talk to — and I believe anyone can learn if the lesson makes sense and feels useful.
