About John Neil

The fervor and passion I witnessed in my mother inspired me to become a teacher so I could experience living a fulfilled life every day of my career. That is why I pursued my academic quest and took up a Bachelor of Arts in English Language degree for my undergraduate education and earned it in 2011 in order to achieve my mission and develop my potential in how language and literacy influence young learners to think; recognize words, sounds, gestures; and develop creative thinking in their own ways, and I made the right the decision as I was able to excel academically in the years that I stayed in the program. I received academic recognition such as being part of the dean’s list. I used it as my motivation to finish my course and continue what I started. I have always believed that this is my purpose since then. This desire for child language acquisition and development pushed me to enroll in an education course. In 2012, I took up a Teacher Certificate in College and graduated in 2013. I became qualified to take the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers in the same year. I successfully passed and got my teaching license. This way, I would be able to bridge the knowledge I acquired from the theories I learned to a greater awareness of helping young learners become their very best.

About the lesson

I use interactive lessons and student-centered activities. I teach different grades/levels using appropriate and innovative teaching strategies. I facilitate learning in the elementary/secondary schools through functional lesson plans or Daily Log of activities and appropriate, adequate and updated instructional materials. I monitor and evaluate pupils/students’ progress. I check attendance, diversity appreciation, safe, positive and motivating environment, overall physical atmosphere, cleanliness and orderliness of classrooms including proper waste disposal. I employ technology in delivering my lesson. I handle junior and senior high students.
