About Laurent

I take pride in delivering results that not only satisfy my clients but make them feel that they got a really good deal for the price.

I am kind and quite selfless, I have a disability and can now transfer the many skills I have acquired through life on 3 continents, 4 degrees and am passionate about doing a good job. I find ways to make learning fun and adapt to individual approaches to learning.

I have also completed my certIV in training and assessment and worked for government, NGOS, productivity boards, as sole trader and neurological disorder survivor. I Play free improvised guitar at the end of each session as a bonus :)

About the lesson

I am a 35 year old gentleman of French origins located in Townsville (Douglas) at present times.

I love my lessons to be effective, fun, engaging, practical, adaptative to each learning style. I have 7 years of university accomplished at high standard and enjoy teaching as I have a disability. I have 4 degrees to back my seriousness. I also work and understand mental illnesses.

I really focus on follow up and engagement, I know how important it is to feel supported and listened to.

I can teach all age groups French, English, GIS (computerised mapping systems), environmental and earth sciences, agronomy (I am an accredited Reef Catchment farm Advisor) and guitar, as I am self taught and play at a high standard and interested in musicotherapy.

I can also teach how to awake and channel healing energies, how to use the mind to accomplish fascinating things (remote viewing...), meditation, breathing exercises and healing sessions depending on the day.
I have a gift to work with energies and heal traumas, relax tense neck muscles, shoulderblades etc and simply would like to practice it.

I have complex regional pain syndrome and you would be supporting a disabled yet enthousiastic individual willing to work full time and contribute to the community. I am based in Douglas.

Prices vary depending on the topic and how long the session. $35/hour at this stage, with cheaper packages negotiable.

I also have skills in organic gardening, permaculture and commercial sugarcane production as district officer.

As a former landcare coordinator and community volunteer in Townsville, I also enjoy teaching about environmental sciences and solutions kids can start working with for a better future.
