About Sarah Maria
I have loved art for as long as I can remember, and even within classes I was continuously advising peers on how to improve their works whether through technique or concept.
A creative at heart, I am full of suggestions and ideas, and have been exposed to several art styles, mediums, and techniques through my education.
I am capable of conducting less structured lessons where a child learns skills and is exposed to styles, techniques, and their histories, or a more structured approach where a child has an end goal piece in mind and needs support to make it come to life.

Classes will be centred around the student: I will teach the skills that they are interested in learning. Lessons should be around 2 hours, plus or minus 30 minutes.
I have been learning visual arts academically for 10 years, and received an A in Art and Design IGCSE (2022) and a 7 in Visual Arts HL IB (2024). I have had works exhibited in the National Gallery of Singapore, Visual Arts Centre Singapore, Indian Heritage Center and The Substation.
My lessons would be best suited for those just starting out in the arts - I can offer improvements on technique and teach them how to create meaning with their pieces.
