About Tony

I am a professional musician with over 45 years of experience, 25 of those years overseas and touring the world. I play Jazz, Classical, blues, acoustic and also play the 21-string Harp Guitar and ukulele. I have performed with a huge range of artists such as James Morrison, Cliff Richard, Galapagos Duck, and Barney Kessel to The Australian Chamber Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra. I have a BA Honours degree in music as well as a Diploma of Music. I have a wealth of experience to share with any pupils who may wish to expand their guitar skills and expand their minds.

About the lesson

I base my teaching on each individual student's needs and ability. I encourage exploration of new ideas and new techniques. I aim for a total understanding of the instrument and the theories behind music. I also like to keep it fun and entertaining for the student/students.
