Specialising in custom made couture techniques, we can tailor the lessons so you can learn specific things you may be interested in. Or you can have the lessons tailored so that you can learn how to create a custom gown step by step from scratch.
I will provide copy of basic block pattern for you to keep, calico for design testing and the use of all in house tools required to complete your sessions including pattern making tools, needles and threads as well as access to my industrial sewing machines for sewing during the lesson.
Many of my students have come to me with little to no sewing experience and after completing their internship were able to design, draft and create a gown from scratch.
I believe the best way to learn is hands on!
I work one on one in my studio to teach every step involved in custom made gowns from pattern construction, internal structure, hand sewing and machine sewing, lace work and beading, selection of fabrics and fabric education, finishings and much more.
Everything involved in creating luxurious glamorous bridal and evening gowns.

Perfect! Sourya helped my daughter with her major works design project. We could not speak more highly of her. She is a fantastic teacher with infinite patience and goes above and beyond to help. We could not have done this without her!
Great student!!
Dear Souraya
I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything. I feel like I have learnt so much with you, you have been so kind and patient teaching me things I wouldn't even learn about in university! You have been such an inspiration to me and I have come to realise which direction I want to take my career in. Enjoy your holiday, you deserve it and I hope to see you again sometime soon!

Souraya
Thank you so much for the last 6 month's you have been so kind and taught me so much more than I ever expected to learn. I can't thank you enough! Good luck with everything in your future not that you need it!
Love Gamma xx
I highly recommend Souraya as a sewing tutor, she is very patient and works at the pace of the student. I am a beginner and she has taken the time to make sure that I understand everything and am confident moving along with our lessons. She takes my ideas on board and gives me her input when necessary. She is very knowledgeable about her work and her many years of experience are evident. Will definitely turn to Souraya for any future projects.
My experience with Souraya exceeded my expectations. I first approached Souraya to make my wedding gown. I had so many photos and ideas, and although I had a vague image in my head, I didn't have the clearest vision of what I wanted. Souraya drew up some sketches and explained the different fabrics and how each one would structure the gown differently to compliment my shape. She understood what I wanted and helped me visualise it more realisticly. At every fitting Souraya not only took my measurements and altered the gown, but she explained what she was doing and why. She was thorough, delicate, down to earth and very honest. I didn't hesitate for a minute having my next gown made with her and cannot wait to work with her again. I would highly recommend her because her work is impeccable, and her desire to educate is admirable.
I had been working with Souraya for about 5 years, those times i worked with her its an amaizing opportunity.
I learned so much from souraya from how to sewing and develop what a couture sewing techniques and not just that, i learn how she embraice her business how she talk to her customers and manage the every dresses in time consuming and to be on time. And the most I appreciate how souraya trust me and willing to give 100 % one on one answer weather i asking so many question like millions times over and over again until i understand.
I wont be me right now as confident and manageble in my timing without souraya.
