About Carlo

I am Carlo and I have been a photographer for over 15 years after completing my Master Degree in Venice, Italy. I have been creating images professionally, as well as a personal artistic practice, concentrating especially on portraiture, fashion and travel. I am a firm believer in the ability of imagery to tell powerful stories that can captivate, educate and entertain audiences. Please enquire for a portfolio of my work.

About the lesson

Whether you're a beginner just starting out or an experienced photographer, I offer highly personalised classes that cater to all levels. From mastering your camera to understanding colour, composition and lighting - you'll learn all the essentials to create powerful images. Or deep dive into advanced techniques such as post-processing (Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One), portraiture and editorial photography. You'll have the opportunity to learn from my diverse experience in different fields such as editorial shoots for magazines, commercial campaigns and fine art projects, which will give you a broad perspective on photography to help you find your own unique voice.

Perfect! Carlo was fantastic. He quickly connected with my 15-year-old son and engaged him in an empathetic and insightful conversation about his interests and the types of photos he wanted to create. He clearly explained some core principles, and then we went outside to take some street shots. Finally, he used some of those images to teach the basics of photo editing.
