About Anya
With over 7 years of teaching experience and a Graduate Diploma in Violin Pedagogy, I provide comprehensive violin lessons. I integrate music theory, aural skills, and sight reading into every session. My students benefit from lessons designed to support music theory exam preparation and advanced harmony comprehension. Scales, intervals, and harmony are explored through practical bowing and fingering exercises. I work with exam candidates as well as those seeking to improve overall musical fluency. Each lesson balances technical development with theoretical understanding. Sight reading and aural training are incorporated to strengthen musical perception. I emphasize phrasing, dynamics, and musical expression. Lessons are personalized to fit each student’s goals and learning style. I help students connect violin technique with music theory. The approach builds confidence and a strong foundation for future performance. My aim is to nurture well-rounded violinists. Students leave lessons with improved technique, knowledge, and musicality.
