About Evelyn
With over 7 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice, I’m passionate about helping students unlock their true musical potential. I believe music is transformative—it shapes confidence, sharpens focus, and opens doors to self-expression. My teaching combines strong foundations in ear training, harmony, and melody with creativity and exploration. I offer lessons in a wide range of styles including classical, pop, jazz, blues, and movie singing. *The Adult Beginner* benefits from a gentle, encouraging approach. Confidence-building starts with familiar songs and simple melodies, using ear training apps to strengthen pitch recognition. As trust in their voice grows, lessons introduce genre exploration—soul, folk, and even rock—to find their unique sound. Breath control and phrasing are introduced gradually, always tied to musical feel rather than rigid drills.
For both personas, musicality is central. Learning dynamics, tone color, and rhythmic nuance makes each phrase come alive.
