About Lachlan
I am a student at university, studying secondary education and majoring in maths. I have had teaching experience in a secondary school environment and am looking to share my passion for maths. My goal is to develop students to a high understanding of mathematical principles. I received high marks in both mathematics b and c in year 11 and 12.

My teaching method is to find a way to explain a principle so a student can understand why something is done, rather than just trying to memorise long, tedious equations. This is done with a clear flow of communication between myself and the student. A typical lesson would not just be me up the front writing on a whiteboard, it would be both myself and a student completing a problem together, with any queries or questions asked.
