About Marianne
I'm a Mathematics graduate and have worked with mathematics for most of my career. I have tutored students in schools, at home and online (mostly via Skype).
I have been successful in encouraging students to be more confident at Mathematics.
Although my main expertise in in Maths, I can also offer tuition (up to GCSE) in other subjects, particularly science.

I am sympathetic, patient and encouraging. I truly believe that everyone can do math to the level they need and want to.
I try to make even GCSE Maths a bit of fun, sometimes.
I will teach you Maths at your pace, and the topics you want (and need) to improve.
For other subjects too, I can work to your specific requirements, to support you in the work you are doing with your main provider (usually school). I will encourage you to see the various topics behind each area you maybe finding difficult, and help you to work on examples related to the subject area. I try to help you to minimise "rote learning" in favour of achieving understanding.
