About Navin

A scientist with a deep passion for mentorship. I have tutored, undergraduate, graduate and school students, as well as adult learners from basic biology to advanced molecular genetics. I have hundreds of hours of teaching experience and met an equal amount of students, but one thing my experience has taught me is that not one of them is the same as another, but all of them can be taught with passion nonetheless.

About the lesson

As a highly experienced medical scientist with over 10 years of teaching experience, I have a strong background in designing and delivering engaging and effective science lessons to students of all ages. I possess a master of science in Medical molecular genetics and a master of research degree in ageing and health.

I have taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate and conducted seminars at graduate levels, including core biology, human physiology, anatomy, and disease mechanisms. I have also mentored lab projects for students from undergraduate to PhD levels. I also have certification in Foundations of Teaching for Learning from Commonwealth Education Trust.

In terms of my teaching methodology, I believe that every student is unique and therefore, I use a variety of teaching methods to cater to the diverse learning styles of my students.

My teaching philosophies can be summed as

Personalized Approach: I believe that every student is unique and therefore, I take a personalized approach to teaching. During the trial lesson, I will take the time to understand the student's individual needs and learning styles and tailor my lessons accordingly.

Engaging and Interactive Lessons: My lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and fun. I use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on experiments, group discussions, and visual aids, to ensure that students are fully engaged and can understand complex scientific concepts with ease.

Experienced and Qualified: With over 10 years of experience in both research and teaching, I have the expertise and knowledge necessary to effectively communicate science to students.

Flexible Schedule: I understand that students have busy schedules, and therefore, I offer flexible lesson times that can accommodate the student's schedules.

Result-Oriented: My ultimate goal is to help students achieve their full potential in science. I believe that with my personalized approach, engaging lessons, and expert knowledge.
