About Geoffrey
I am a PhD candidate at Murdoch University. My project focuses on the 19th century Russian author, Fyodor Dostoevsky, and bridges literature and philosophy. I have also been teaching at Murdoch university for four years and have taught over a hundred of students. During my time at Murdoch I have received positive feedback for every class. I am a passionate teacher and hope to make teaching my profession after completing my post-graduate study.

I believe that it is a teacher's duty to foster critical thinking and a passion for learning. In order to do this, the student must be made to engage with the content and be given the power to ask and answer their own questions clearly and effectively. This can be achieved by teaching the student how to analyse and construct arguments as well as continually demonstrating the importance of what the student is learning to their life and the world around them.
