About Reemon

I'm a graduate who majored in Music Composition and Production at the Australian Institute of Music. I have been composing and producing for almost 8 years now. I have collaborated with various artists and as an aspiring artist myself I can help you to go the distance from creating a composition to producing it and also share my knowledge regarding the music industry of today.

I'll keep each of my sessions brief, going through and discussing your work (any genre) in order to creatively refine your compositions and productions for an improvement in the quality of your overall mix whilst preparing it for a 'high standard' release. In case of multiple students, I'll be promoting more experimentation and collaboration among the peers for a better understanding of communication between two artists. We will look into: - Content Composition - Content Quality - Collaboration and Experimentation - Content Release - Music Promotion It would also include a free mixing/mastering service by me and I'll also be validating the importance of graphical designing as a promotional tool on a free platform called Canva. Unless you want to get your work mixed/mastered by me, this lesson is only for those who have been making music for a while (FL STUDIO preferably) and want to learn new tips to improve the quality of their mixes and pick up new techniques to experiment and find their niche. I work primarily in FL Studio as a DAW and use 'SERUM' for sound design. For people who use other DAWs, most of the tips and tricks would be applicable in any mix regardless of the DAW they're made in. I expect my students to understand that even though I have never professionally taught music in my life, I have lots of experience in the above-mentioned topics and I intend to try my best to share my knowledge with you.

  • When did you first develop a passion for music and your favourite instrument?

I first developed a passion for music when I was about 13. Something about experimenting with sound and discovering melodies felt so natural to me. My favorite instrument is the guitar since it really helped me bring my melodic visions to life and also helped me to write songs.
  • Is there a particular type music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?

Definitely Flume! His music feels like it evolves with every listen. There's always a new texture or layer to discover, so it never gets old.
  • Explain to us the most difficult or 'riveting' lesson you could personally give to one of your students.

Teaching how to build emotion in a track is both challenging and rewarding. It's not just about chords or beats, it's about understanding the story you want to tell and how to make listeners feel something. Watching a student finally capture that in their music is such an incredible moment.
  • What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?

Honestly, the voice. It's so personal and unique, and there's no manual for it. You're constantly fine-tuning your tone, breath control, and expression-it's like a lifelong journey of self-discovery.
  • What are your keys to success?

Consistency, collaboration, and curiosity. Keep learning, connect with others, and stay passionate about the process, even when things get tough. And never underestimate the power of feedback-it's how you grow.
  • Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.

    a. Flume: To thank him for inspiring me to dive into music production.
b.Skrillex: For his insane energy and ability to constantly reinvent himself.
    c. Thom Yorke: To pick his brain about experimental music and creative freedom.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your musical journey, or your days at 'music school'.

During my time at music school, I joined a community of producers who'd share feedback on each other's tracks. One day, someone brutally critiqued one of my pieces, and though it stung, it made me rethink how I approached sound design. That feedback loop shaped my growth as an artist.
  • What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?

I focus on creating a safe space for students to explore and make mistakes. I also adapt lessons to their personal goal, whether it's mastering a DAW, songwriting, or finding their unique sound. And I'm big on feedback, it's always constructive and aimed at helping them improve.
