About Neo
Hi~ I'm Neo, a university student majoring in music with a strong foundation in flute performance and music theory. I began my teaching journey by assisting beginner ensembles during high school, where I helped new players develop their confidence and technique in a supportive, collaborative setting. That experience sparked my passion for teaching—and I’ve been committed to growing ever since. I bring not only a solid technical understanding of the flute, but also a calm, encouraging presence to each lesson. I know what it’s like to be at the start of a musical journey, and my goal is to guide students with patience, clarity, and care. Whether you’re a complete beginner, a hobbyist returning to music, or a young student picking up the flute for the first time, I offer structured, creative lessons tailored to your pace and interests. I believe that music should be joyful, expressive, and empowering—and I’d love to help you discover that for yourself.

My Approach to Flute Lessons
As a music student currently studying at university and a former volunteer assistant for a beginner school ensemble, I believe in creating a calm, encouraging space where students can feel free to explore and enjoy their instrument. I especially love working with beginners and early intermediate players who may be picking up the flute for the first time or returning to it after a break.
My teaching is gentle and adaptive. I focus on building a solid foundation in tone, rhythm, and posture, while also encouraging musical expression from the very start. I use simple warm-up routines, ear training games, and step-by-step guidance to help students grow their confidence.
Typical lessons are 30 to 45 minutes long and can be tailored to the student’s goals—whether that's preparing for a school performance, learning a favorite song, or simply discovering the beauty of flute music.
My lessons are ideal for:
Beginner to intermediate students (ages 8 and up)
Children, teens, and adults who prefer a warm and patient teaching style
Learners who enjoy creativity and personal expression in their music journey
