About Yessy
I have been teaching Indonesian for the past 1 year as a volunteer in Social Connect community. It taught me how to adapt my teaching style to suit the student’s respective cultural background, social requirements, and specific needs. I have the opportunity to teach Indonesian language for both children ranging from 4 years to senior people as much as 30 years. Although there is a great gap in the teaching style that should be used to teach this wide age range, I find it a challenge to match my techniques of teaching Indonesian with the students’ capabilities.

I can teach you how to learn Indonesian and how to write it or how to make a conversation. For beginners, we will learn with specific methods and timeline. For example, learn introduction, time, asking, day, date, and many more. It will be a good start for those of you who want to travel to Indonesia, traveling or just simply want to know the language. We can learn Indonesian language through vocabulary first and the pronunciation of the alphabet. The language can be fairly easy to learn for English speakers, as all vowel sounds in the Indonesian language have only one. We will go slow, depending on the lesson and progress, but surely you will learn speaking, reading, listening, and writing. There will be little homework around the weekend or assessment usually with me so you can practice and we will go through it together.
