About Kathy
I am a native mandarin and cantonese speaker with fluent english. I used to tutor private class for beginners(children and adult). Certificate in the Putonghua Proficiency Test that allow to tutor for beginners level.
My career is rooted in business communication for many years. In my view, regardless of what subject you're teaching, the most crucial aspect of being a good teacher lies in the way you communicate and connect with your students. It's about understanding their unique needs and learning paces, having the patience to support them in adapting to the language, and being able to recognize their individual learning patterns. My aim is to assist each student in achieving their personal best.

- I believe in with solid foundation of a language will help you to go a long way, so there will be lots of pinyin practice(both written and spoken) and once you get familiar and good at it, we then move to characters. In the class, beside the pinyin and character practice, there will also have lots of speaking and listening practice in different scenarios(daily life or work/business environment) . The best way to learn a language is immersed yourself in it.
-I am patience and good at communication(work in communication field for years), the key in my class will be focus on understand your needs and pace in your mandarin learning journey, and help you to get the best out of it.
