About Pilar
My name is Pilar Mauriño. I'm a Spanish teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Education in Spanish and Literature. I graduated from Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (UNNE) in 2024. I have been teaching Spanish online for 3 years. I have experience working as a teaching assistant and tutor for middle and high school students. I also have experience teaching Spanish online to children and adults. Last year I performed in a position as a Spanish tutor and language coach in a Spanish academy from Argentina. I am currently living in Australia and teaching Spanish online.

I offer conversational classes with a solid ground in grammar. My teaching method is focused on applied grammar, which consists of learning basic grammar framework to put the language in use. Book a free trial to get to know each other and do a placement test together. We will discuss your motivation for learning Spanish, your personal interests, and your goals, in order to agree on a lesson plan that works for you. After the placement test, I will craft a personalized lesson plan based on your level, skills, interests, and needs. Each class will last 60 minutes (15 minutes of small talk and introduction, 15 minutes of theory/homework, and 30 minutes of real-life practice based on the topic of the lesson).
