About Heenal
I’m a passionate and approachable science tutor with dual Master’s degrees in Cancer Molecular Biology and Neurobiology. I was fortunate to have teachers who helped shape my curiosity into a love for learning, and I strive to pass that same inspiration on to my students. I believe science becomes much easier—and more enjoyable—when taught with curiosity, creativity, and clarity. My lessons are designed to build confidence, deepen understanding, and make complex concepts feel simple and relatable. I take pride in creating a supportive space where students feel encouraged to ask questions and grow at their own pace. Alongside science, I have a multidisciplinary interest in photography, art, painting, and cooking. These creative passions often influence my teaching, helping me connect scientific ideas to everyday life. Whether you're preparing for exams, need homework help, or want to explore the subject more deeply, I’m here to help you succeed.

My tutoring approach focuses on building a strong conceptual foundation through curiosity-led learning. I break down complex topics using real-life examples, analogies, and interactive discussions, making lessons engaging and memorable. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style—whether visual, verbal, or hands-on—and incorporate diagrams, questions, and summaries to reinforce understanding. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I’m flexible based on the student’s needs and focus areas. I hold two Master’s degrees—one in Cancer Molecular and Cellular Biology (Queen Mary University of London) and another in Life Sciences with a specialisation in Neurobiology. I’ve mentored and taught students from undergraduate to school level, and led science outreach and after-school science club for children. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A-Level students seeking support in biology, chemistry, as well as younger students (Key Stage 3 and below) looking for early science guidance or curiosity-driven learning. I also welcome learners preparing for exams, tackling specific topics, or aiming to boost confidence in science.
